Mohamad Sabu Now Defends Home Gardening Plan Amid Criticism

1 min read

Agriculture and Food Security Minister Mohamad Sabu has defended Putrajaya’s call for citizens to grow their own vegetables, describing it as part of a wider effort to strengthen Malaysia’s food security. Responding to criticism from Tasek Gelugor MP Wan Saiful Wan Jan, Mohamad said home gardening is not meant to solve global price issues but to encourage resilience.
