With the borders fully opened and companies reopening, employers are aggressively recruiting, triggering a return of Malaysians to Singapore to work, including both employees abandoning their positions and fresh university graduates looking for work.
According to the Oriental Daily, job applicants in Malaysia, especially those who returned home following the outbreak of the epidemic, are lured to organisations in Singapore because they offer greater salaries and better benefits packages.
Many of them were also enticed by the favourable exchange rate, which resulted in Malaysians crossing the border to take up work in Singapore. More @LatestMalaysia
