MyKad-Based SARA Initiative Eases Financial Struggles for Millions

Beneficiaries, including cleaners and single parents, praise the efficiency and security of MyKad-based transactions. Under the MADANI Economy framework, annual SARA assistance increased to RM2,100 for eligible households.

The second phase of Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) also expanded support, benefiting 8.5 million recipients with up to RM650. This initiative highlights Malaysia’s commitment to improving living standards and ensuring equitable access to financial aid.
