After Numerous Arguments, Netizens Ask if Complainers Comfortable Seeing “Babi” Signboards

There have been a number of debates among politicians and social media users when it comes to the naming convention of some establishments in Kuala Lumpur. This is in lieu of some of them being named in English and Mandarin. An X user showed a restaurant selling pork, with the name having the word “babi” in it. 

Netizens ask if complainers comfortable seeing “Babi” signboards 

However, it seems that some users feel that it would be better for them as these signs would be a clear indicator for them to avoid as they are not able to eat pork.

Furthermore, there were some of those complaining that the lack of Malay signboards is a problem, but some may be offended while seeing stores selling liquor or pork in our national language.
