It appears the latest hoax on Instagram is that the Hantavirus may reduce the penis size of a man. However, there are no claims that back this up. But, social media users decided to join in the fun by making self-deprecating humor regarding the situation.

Furthermore, this shows that anything can be said on social media and be taken as factual evidence. This is despite the fact that the page is clearly a satire page. Unfortunately, the virus has claimed five lives.
Regardless, the virus so far has not reached the levels of covid-19, where a lockdown had to be ensured in curbing the virus.
