A young family is reeling from the sudden loss of 29-year-old Mr. Tan Kok Seng, who died in a car accident in Woodlands on September 20. Returning to Malaysia after work with a colleague, their vehicle collided with a BMW, throwing him from the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene, while his colleague was arrested for careless driving. Mr. Tan, a window installer, leaves behind a wife and infant daughter. His distraught brother described him as easygoing and generous. After the funeral in Ipoh, Mr. Tan’s ashes will be taken to Johor, closer to his wife.
