PASIR PUTEH – A 51-year-old man, Kang Kheng An, was killed when his Toyota Estima overturned and caught fire in a three-vehicle crash at Kampung Wakaf Raja early Sunday morning. The victim, travelling from Johor Bahru to his hometown in Tumpat for Chinese New Year, was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
Pasir Puteh Crash
Pasir Puteh Fire and Rescue chief Azhar Elmy Mustofar said the accident occurred near Bukit Awang at 4am, involving a Perodua Myvi and Toyota Camry. Both other drivers escaped unhurt. Firefighters extinguished the blaze, ending operations at 5.03am.
