Residents in Lata Rek, Kelantan can now enjoy improved connectivity after a new steel bridge was completed to replace an ageing wooden suspension bridge. The project ends a three-decade struggle for locals who previously relied on the unsafe structure. 

Infrastructure Upgrade Improves Safety For Rural Community

Officials said the new bridge provides safer access for residents travelling between villages and nearby towns. It also improves mobility for emergency services and daily transport needs. 

Authorities said the upgrade is part of broader infrastructure efforts to improve rural connectivity across the country.
