It is sad to hear one of the connectors of our two countries, Thailand and Malaysia has been attempted to be destroyed. The motive of doing such an act is still unclear, and it is costly to both governments as the transferring of goods and passengers will be halted until further notice.
Padang Besar- Hat Yai tracks
The tracks that serve the two cities, Padang Besar and Hat Yai are considered to be one of the most important connectors for Malaysia. Netizens are empathising with the Thai officials and the Malaysian officials who are both painstakingly trying to solve the matter. There was a train that derailed off the tracks because of this.
Netizens are accusing this as the work of terrorist. Some have even tagged the Malaysian police on Twitter regarding this. Others were blessed that the train is simply a cargo train and not a passenger one as that would’ve been a bigger issue.
