X Users Now Urging PAS States to Enforce Halal Certificate Requirement for F&B Premises

The recent debate on whether a restaurant/eatery is Halal or not based on the fact that they have a certificate or not, has been popular on X. However, some users feel that this is directed towards the Selangor and Kuala Lumpur state.

X users urging PAS states to enforce Halal certificate requirements 

Teasing the opposition users on X, some users are recommending that the opposition states should enforce this idea as well, additionally, in lieu with the fact that PAS is running the states. Netizens claim that in Kelantan, they might fail the health inspection requirements to begin with. 

Others state that the certificate is arbitrary and is not necessarily a requirement. They allege that the certificates are a “business.” However, there is no substantial evidence to show that it is a business.
