PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man has extended an invitation to MCA and MIC to join forces, amid dissatisfaction in the two sidelined BN component parties over their lack of government representation. His remarks followed resolutions by several MIC state chapters calling to quit BN due to frustration at being sidelined. Separately, Tuan Ibrahim announced that Perikatan Nasional has officially established its presidential council, comprising leaders of its four component parties, with approval from the Registrar of Societies. The council will act as the ultimate decision-making body on unresolved issues requiring higher-level deliberation and consensus.
