A 23-year-old police constable was killed after his motorcycle was struck by a car driven by a suspected drunk driver along Jalan Temiang, Seremban, in the early hours of August 18. The incident occurred near SK Temiang at 1:01 AM, leaving the victim critically injured.

He was pronounced dead at 2:24 AM while receiving treatment at Tuanku Jaafar Hospital. Police said the 26-year-old Perodua Bezza driver lost control, swerved into the opposite lane, and collided with the victim’s Honda EX5. The driver suffered minor injuries and has been detained. The case is being probed under Section 44(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
