Police have recorded statements from witnesses in a knife attack allegedly involving a member of the Pahang royal family. The incident occurred on May 8 at a nightclub in Kuantan, where a 30-year-old victim claimed he was assaulted after an earlier encounter with the royal figure. The victim said he was hit with a glass jug and stabbed in the buttocks with a folding knife after being made to apologise. RM1,200 was allegedly handed over as a peace offering. Investigations are ongoing under Section 324 of the Penal Code. Police confirmed at least one arrest but withheld further details.
