Police are set to recall witnesses in the Teoh Beng Hock case following a Kuala Lumpur High Court directive to reinvestigate his 2009 death. Bukit Aman CID Director Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain confirmed statements will be recorded after Chinese New Year, with investigation papers due by May. Teoh, a political aide, was found dead after stating the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission office. Separately, Mohd Shuhaily stated that investigations into the acid attack on Selangor FC footballer Faisal Halim remain open but lack new leads. Faisal suffered severe burns from the attack in May 2024.
