Malaysian police will investigate a claim that a factory worker for Dyson supplier ATA IMS was beaten at their station.

Dyson, a British home appliance manufacturer, told Reuters that it was terminating its contract with ATA following an audit of the company’s labour practises and allegations made by a whistleblower.

Mr Dhan Kumar Limbu, a former ATA employee, told Reuters on Thursday that ATA officials took him to a police station in June and questioned him about sharing information about factory conditions with activists before beating him.
