McDonalds has been one of the more controversial companies in Malaysia, alongside Starbucks. However, some X users feel that there is no point in boycotting these companies as their profit margins are still relatively solid. Furthermore, the company is praised for helping flood victims in Malaysia.

There is some debate that those boycotting McDonalds should not accept this charity. Following that, many feel that those on the receiving end should accept it with gratitude as someone else paid for this relief. It is still odd that some are more than willing to refuse a donation.
Others state that eating food from the restaurant is not sinful at all. Unfortunately, some people are making it out to be outlawed by religion. Regardless, consumers are allowed to do whatever they want with their hard earned money. For those in need, whatever help is given should be appreciated as well.
