Prasarana Targets One Million KM Between Failures by 2026

Prasarana Malaysia Berhad aims to achieve a Mean Kilometres Between Failure (MKBF) of one million km by Q2 2026 to minimize train breakdowns. Transport Minister Anthony Loke reported a reduction in train service disruptions from 118 in 2023 to 71 in 2024, improving efficiency by 33%.

Prasarana Targets One Million KM Between Failures by 2026

The goal is to further reduce disruptions and reach the MKBF target. They also targets 1.4 million daily passengers by December, with a 24% increase in ridership in 2024. Revenue improved by 5% due to increased ridership. Prasarana is exploring additional revenue streams, including advertising and corporate sponsorship.
