Former economy minister Rafizi Ramli brushed off Umno’s Puad Zarkashi’s warning about possible legal action over his government criticism, saying he fears nothing. Rafizi sarcastically reminded Puad that his only charges came under the BN government when the latter was Jasa director-general, including a three-year jail sentence. Labeling Puad an attention-seeker, Rafizi mocked his limited electoral wins despite decades in politics. “If his advice wasn’t to gain media attention, he’d struggle to make headlines,” Rafizi quipped. He added he wouldn’t stay silent out of fear and dismissed the Umno man’s warning as hollow.
