Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli criticized the release of Bersatu Segambut deputy chief Adam Radlan Adam Muhammad, who was freed from 12 graft and money laundering charges after paying a RM4.1 million compound.

Rafizi said Adam had originally faced allegations of soliciting and receiving over RM6.7 million in bribes related to Jana Wibawa projects, calling the settlement a “39% profit margin.” He compared the treatment of high-profile figures with ordinary citizens, who face jail for petty theft.
Rafizi argued that corruption cases are increasingly resolved through repayment, accusing Perikatan Nasional of hypocrisy and urging the government to act seriously against graft.
