Tech influencer, Marques Brownlee recently caused a stir on social media after posting photos of what appears to be rechargeable batteries with a USB-C Charging slot. Prior to this, batteries that were able to be recharged would have another device re-charging them.
Rechargeable batteries have a USB-C charging slot?
Some users brought up the fact that each battery would need a single USB cable to charge it. Most devices requiring removable batteries would typically need more than 1. This may defeat the purpose of having a built-in charging slot in each battery.
Others state batteries that are rechargeable are not as efficient as the regular ones. However, those who have had experience with the rechargeable ones state that it is a significantly better option, and could be cheaper in the long run.
