1 min read

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 26 — Repair works are ongoing to restore the signalling system on the MRT Putrajaya Line after a large number of fibre optic cables had been cut and stolen. Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd said the theft caused major disruption, forcing trains between Kwasa Damansara and Putrajaya Sentral stations to operate manually at reduced speeds, with 20- to 30-minute intervals.

A free shuttle bus service runs between the two stations every 15 to 20 minutes to assist passengers. Rapid Rail urged commuters to follow updates on the PULSE app and social media, and apologised for the inconvenience caused.
