SHAH ALAM – The government’s current anti-corruption agenda is failing, with Malaysians increasingly losing trust in its commitment, said PAS Selangor Youth deputy chief Muhammad Faizzuddin Mohd Zai. He pointed to the controversy surrounding Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief Tan Sri Azam Baki, which he said has damaged the country’s image.

Faizzuddin urged Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim not to shield officials as “political armour” and called for Azam’s suspension until investigations are complete. He stressed that transparency is vital to restore confidence, warning that the issue has drawn both domestic and international attention.
