KUALA LUMPUR – The National Anti-Drug Agency (NADA) arrested a family of three in Kuala Lumpur after discovering the parents had turned their home into a drug den. Their teenage son admitted he did not use drugs with his parents but confessed to taking methamphetamine with friends.
“My parents probably don’t care about my future at all, so I can only walk my own path. I’m in charge of my own life, and I can do whatever I want.”
Drug Use
He said he had witnessed his parents using drugs openly at home, which eventually led him to addiction. NADA highlighted the case as a reminder to parents to set a positive example and avoid exposing children to harmful environments. The agency stressed the importance of preventing homes from becoming breeding grounds for drugs.
