RHB Completes 27 Anti-Corruption Initiatives Under Five-Year Plan

RHB Banking Group has completed all 27 initiatives under its five-year Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) 2022-2026, marking the completion of a major governance and integrity programme.

The banking group said the plan was designed to strengthen corruption risk management, accountability and governance practices while embedding a stronger culture of integrity across its organisation.

RHB Moves Into New Anti-Corruption Strategy

RHB chairman Tan Sri Ahmad Badri Mohd Zahir described the completion as an important milestone in strengthening trust and accountability.

Among the initiatives implemented was the first phase of the Corporate Integrity System Malaysia assessment. The group is now developing a new Organisational Anti-Corruption Strategy (OACS) aligned with the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2024-2028.

The new strategy will focus on integrating integrity considerations into business decisions while further strengthening transparency, accountability and governance throughout RHB.

Group managing director and CEO Datuk Mohd Rashid Mohamad said the next phase would deepen ethical conduct across everyday decisions and interactions. The completion was commemorated during RHB Integrity Week 2026, which featured anti-corruption training and governance programmes involving MACC and the Malaysian Institute of Integrity.
