Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform) Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said opposes the Attorney General’s Chambers’ (AGC) application for a gag order on a purported royal addendum regarding Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s prison sentence. The addendum reportedly allows Najib to serve the remainder of his SRC International sentence under house arrest. Azalina argued the matter is already public and will likely resurface during Parliament’s next session. The government sought the gag order during case management to prevent public discussion of the issue.
