Sabah’s Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) strongly denounced the burning of a caricature resembling Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim during the recent Gempur Rasuah 2.0 rally. AMK Sabah Information Chief Mohd Nur Hilmie Milus called the act disrespectful and contrary to Anwar’s long-standing fight against corruption since 1998. “We believe people’s demands should be expressed responsibly, factually, and constructively, not by mocking a leader driving real change,” he said. While supporting anti-corruption efforts, AMK Sabah urged principled approaches, emphasizing their commitment to youth-driven reforms for a fair and transparent Malaysia.
