Security company manager charged with submitting false document

A security company manager, Zainal Abidin Za’abah, pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court to five counts of submitting false claims for security guards’ working hours in 2019.

Security Firm Manager Denies Forgery Charges

Charged with using forged documents related to security services at schools and colleges, the offences took place at the Alor Gajah District Education Office between May and September 2019.

He faces charges under Section 471 of the Penal Code, with potential penalties of up to two years’ imprisonment or a fine. The judge set bail at RM8,000, with the case set for mention on January 13, 2025.
