Selangor Stands with Palestine for the Israeli attacks on Gaza and other villages on every Ramadan. This leaves a bitter experience for the Palestinians, especially in this holy month, says a statement from the Selangor Menteri Besar, Dato Seri Amirudin Shari.
“The armed confrontation of the Zionist regime against the Palestinians is quite unfortunate especially that Muslims are actively worshiping in this glorious month. As if endless and deliberately mocking the sanctity of this holy month, the violence has once again risen since the beginning of Ramadan. It culminated Friday morning when the al-Aqsa Mosque which is considered the third most revered mosque in the Islamic tradition was also attacked by Israeli authorities.”
This attack has left a large number of Palestinians injured. For that matter, Selangor’s Prihatin Humanitarian Fund launched last year which managed to collect nearly RM1 million in the form of transportation such as ambulances, Selangor Charity Trucks, medical equipment and food boxes.
