After accounting for recent pay adjustments, almost all civil servants in Singapore will receive salary increases that are higher than Singapore’s core inflation rate of 5.1%.

Speaking in Parliament, Minister-in-Charge of Public Service Chan Chun Sing says for all those who meet the requirements, the increases from a recent salary review combined with annual salary increases and annual variable component (AVC) payments will more than exceed the inflation rate this year.

The year-end bonus for Singapore civil servants will last for 1.1 months, and junior-grade officers will also receive a one-time payment of S$700. The payment also considers the state of the economy.
