SEBERANG PERAI — Two nursery workers have been remanded for seven days to assist investigations into the death of a four-month-old baby boy at a childcare centre within Seberang Jaya Hospital. Magistrate Roshayati Radellah issued the remand order until March 16 under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
Four-month-old baby dies
The suspects, both 22, were arrested yesterday after the infant, Hayl Haarith Mohd. Syafaeez, was found unconscious and later pronounced dead at the hospital. Family members were seen in tears as the suspects were brought to court in handcuffs. CCTV footage reportedly captured the incident inside the nursery.
