‘I am sorry that you are smelly’ TikToker Criticised

Singapore TikToker Daryll (@darylljaypt) thought he was dropping hot takes at the SG Collectibles & Card Show — instead, he got criticised. In a video outside Singapore Expo, he claimed the convention smelled like “fermented sweat in fat folds” and even added gagging noises. Netizens weren’t impressed, calling his rant “unnecessary” and “offensive.”

One Redditor quipped, “Yes, it’s smelly, but no need to audition for MasterChef with your nose.” Another joked he’d offended “bigger‑sized individuals and washing machines everywhere.” The clip earned 65 upvotes, 110 comments, and a permanent spot in the “Why did you post this?” hall of fame. But was he 100% wrong?
