KUALA LUMPUR: The launch of the iPhone 17 Pro Max at Apple Store TRX saw 19-year-old student Danial Arif bin Abdul Halim become the first in line after queuing from 3am. While many thought he was chasing the latest Apple device for himself, the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) student explained that the Cosmic Orange iPhone 17 Pro Max was a wedding anniversary gift for his mother, purchased at his father’s request.

Danial, a straight-A SPM achiever now at Intec Education College, said he had long admired Apple launches. “I’ve always wanted to feel the excitement of queueing early,” he told WeirdKaya. Dressed in an orange shirt to match the Cosmic Orange iPhone, Danial proudly marked the TRX debut of Apple’s newest flagship.
