Suraiya and Farina Won Gold in the Para-cycling Sprint Finals

Malaysia clinched a 1-2 finish in the women’s 1,000 metre B (visual impairment) time trial at the Chun’an Jieshou Sports Centre Velodrome during the Hangzhou Asian Para Games. Nur Suraiya Zamri and pilot Farina Shawati Adnan secured the gold after clocking one minute and 13.434 seconds in the 2023 final.

The team secured the gold after clocking one minute and 13.434 seconds in the women’s 1,000-metre B (visual impairment) time trial at the Chun’an Jieshou Sports Centre Velodrome. The men’s 1,000m B (visual impairment) witnessed Khairul Hazwan Wahab and pilot Khairul Adha Rasol claiming silver after clocking 1:05.740s in the final.
