Tun Mahathir has been flip flopping his judgment when it comes to either supporting or not supporting the Malay community in Malaysia. There are times when he states that the community is “lazy” yet at other times he claims that they are losing economic and political power. Furthermore, netizens seem unhappy with his flip flopping remarks.
Tun Mahathir patronizing Malays?
Netizens are stating that he is downgrading others in order for political gain. This is coming from his tweet regarding his trip to London where he discussed the issues that are being faced by the Malay community. Others took it as though he is saying that they would never be able to qualify for anything based on hard work when in reality it is the contrary.
Furthermore, there are questions asking if Tun Mahathir insulted the Malays. Malaysians are fed up with the fear mongering that is being promoted by our former Prime Minister, stating that he needs a new political strategy to be successful this time.
