Datuk Seri R Sanjeevan, a candidate for Bersatu Associate Wing vice chief, acknowledged that non-Malay voters are hesitant to support Perikatan Nasional (PN) due to concerns over PAS. Speaking on the Sana Sini podcast, Sanjeevan admitted that PAS is the primary reason non-Malays are reluctant to back PN. He also dismissed rumors of tension between Muhyiddin Yassin’s party and PAS as “propaganda.” Meanwhile, Bersatu Youth chief candidate Muhammad Hilman Idham, a close ally of Azmin Ali, emphasized that factionalism is damaging the party. He urged members to focus on inclusivity and progressive values to strengthen the opposition party.
