TANGKAK: UMNO Deputy President Mohamad Hasan emphasized that UMNO’s cooperation with Pakatan Harapan (PH) in the Unity Government is a strategic step to ensure national stability, not a merger. Speaking at the Ledang UMNO Division Meeting, he dismissed notions of “UMDAP,” affirming UMNO’s loyalty to traditional allies MCA, MIC, and PBRS. Mohamad explained that the decision to join the Unity Government followed the 15th General Election, where no coalition secured a majority. He urged UMNO members to learn from past electoral losses to strengthen the party’s future performance.
