KUALA LUMPUR: Former Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi has claimed that the signboard of the Unity Government Secretariat on the 26th floor of the World Trade Centre (WTC) Kuala Lumpur has been removed, raising questions over the status of cooperation between parties in the ruling coalition.

Puad also alleged that Umno was becoming increasingly “allergic” to the logo of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), while criticising certain party leaders whom he said frequently attack Pakatan Harapan (PH) in public.
In comments shared on social media, Puad said criticism of Umno should not be viewed negatively, stressing that he had voiced opinions about the party even when he was still a member of the Umno Supreme Council.
He maintained that expressing views and criticisms is an individual right and should be accepted as part of healthy political discourse.
The claims have yet to receive an official response from Umno or the Unity Government Secretariat.
