There are several slanderous comments directed towards our Prime Minister for said comment. Social media users are making claims and accusations that can’t be proven as of this point.
There are comparisons of said statement to Marie Antoinette’s alleged “let them eat cake” statement, which was something the former Queen of France never actually said.
