Businessman Victor Chin Boon Long has initiated legal action against Bestinet Sdn Bhd founder Aminul Islam Abdul Nor, claiming he orchestrated the attempted takeover of NexG Bhd. Chin alleged Aminul imposed pressure on enforcement agencies, froze accounts, and forced leadership changes through threats.

He said the takeover attempt began in October 2025 after NexG secured a RM2.46 billion government contract. Chin accused Aminul of acting as a shadow director and appointing “Corporate Mafia” nominees to NexG’s board. He stressed he was wrongly implicated, insisting he is a victim, not part of any corporate mafia network.
