With the recent debacle of Riza Aziz’s case being dropped, netizens find it peculiar that the ultra wealthy are allowed to be scot free when in such cases. However, if a poor, or normal person were to do something in a similar nature with less severity, they’d automatically face jail. 

Netizens ask Why Are the Wealthy Pardoned While Ordinary People Face Jail?

Social media users are calling for a reform in the country where those extremely wealthy should be punished with more severity as their wrong doings are allegedly in a higher echelon. This rhetoric is seen all over social media these days. 

Others add if someone can afford it, they’d be able to use a good lawyer that may help them reduce their penalties severely.
