White House now compares Trump to King Charles in ‘rage bait’ post

The White House has drawn criticism after posting a divisive comparison between President Donald Trump and King Charles III during the monarch’s state visit. Charles, accompanied by Queen Camilla, addressed Congress on global issues, stressing that executive power is “subject to checks and balances.”

Later, at a state dinner, Trump praised the UK’s “richest inheritance one nation could give to another,” while Charles gifted him a bell from his WWII submarine namesake, HMS Trump. The White House’s post on X/Twitter, captioned “TWO KINGS” with a crown emoji, was widely mocked, with Larry the Cat quipping, “A kind and a jester.”
