Zahid now insists BN to STAY in Madani until end of term

GEORGE TOWN, July 24, 2026 – Barisan Nasional (BN) remains committed to supporting the Unity Government until the end of the 15th parliamentary term, dismissing speculation of efforts to topple Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s administration. BN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi stressed that he has no intention of participating in any political maneuver, including the so-called “Dubai Move” or other alleged plots. He said BN’s commitment was made following the King’s decree during the formation of the government and will remain until the conclusion of the current parliamentary term.

“There is no Dubai Move, no Bangkok Move, nothing. We are committed until the end of the 15th Parliament. Full stop,” Zahid said after chairing the 61st MEXCLUB meeting in Teluk Bahang. He added that BN’s priority is ensuring political stability, denying claims of secret meetings with PN, GPS, or GRS leaders.
