Former PKR vice-president Zuraida Kamaruddin’s appeal to overturn a High Court ruling that ordered her to pay RM10 million to PKR for breaching her bond will be decided on Dec 11.
Zuraida’s Appeal Over RM10 Million Bond to PKR: Verdict on Dec 11
A Court of Appeal bench chaired by Justice See Mee Chun, with Justices Azman Abdullah and Ahmad Kamal Shahid, will deliver the judgment. Zuraida’s lawyer, Azhar Harun, argued that the RM10 million sum is excessive and that PKR has not quantified its losses.
However, PKR’s counsel argued that Zuraida’s disloyalty contributed to the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan government. A prior ruling deemed the bond binding and enforceable.
