Volleyball Coach Who Slapped Students PERMANENTLY BANNED

1 min read

The volleyball coach who went viral for slapping his students has officially been banned from coaching. Furthermore, his licence has been revoked by the Malaysian Volleyball Association. Netizens are rejoicing from this news as 14-year-old students should not be slapped in the face for making errors while playing sports.

Hannah Yeoh and Fadhilah Siddiq both made the announcement today. Netizens are happy that the Minister of Sports has stepped in the matter and stated that barbarism should not be promoted. If the student is not doing it right, teach them properly.

Furthermore, statements saying “welcome to the new Malaysia” are quite apparent. Teachers who think that they are above the law will now get penalised. Some are asking what would happen to the other coach that closed an eye when the incident happened in front of him.

For now, that is still undecided. Netizens pressed on the fact that those who stay silent while witnessing abuse are also participating in the abuse. However, that is a subjective topic.
