A tragic accident in Pasir Puteh has resulted in a bus driver losing his right arm, as well as minor injuries to two passengers. The incident occurred at a traffic light intersection, where the bus collided with a lorry that had stopped for a red light. The impact caused the bus to slide forward and crash into three other vehicles.
Tragic Loss
The driver of the bus, Mohamad Amiruddin Azhar, 26, lost control before the collision, according to initial investigations. Police have advised road users to be more cautious during the festive season and to ensure their vehicles are well-maintained.
The accident is being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act.
