Our beloved Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook expressed surprise at Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong. This is due to the latter for relying solely on one app to check flight ticket prices. Despite having three mobile phones.

Anthony Loke fights back

As a former Transport Minister, Loke believes Ka Siong should be aware that each airline has its own app, and he should educate the public on comparing prices across various apps to obtain the cheapest tickets. Loke highlighted that Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has its own app, and questioned why Ka Siong would use the AirAsia app to check MAS tickets.

Loke compared it to wanting to buy KFC but going to McDonald’s, as the answers received would be different. Loke also invited Ka Siong to come and interview passengers to prove that cheap fares do exist. Meanwhile, Loke acknowledged that flight capacity has been increased but is still insufficient, and the government will continue to work on increasing capacity to reduce average prices.
