A total of 47 company directors were arrested by the MACC nationwide through Op Hire 2.0. A total of 33 men and 14 women aged 30 to 70 were arrested since Monday evening.
47 Arrested
All of the individuals are suspected of submitting claims that they allegedly conducted the recruitment and training program of workers to the Social Security Organization (Socso), but it was not implemented.
Penjana Funds
Ops Hire 2.0 is an operation to curb the embezzlement and leakage of government funds as a result of false claims made by company directors through the recruitment incentive program and training program (Penjana).
