In the face of a viral video controversy, Deputy Minister Fuziah Salleh says there are hidden agendas at play, likely of a political nature. The viral video, portraying her inspecting a supermarket and purchasing essential items, is revealed to be an old recording resurfaced by certain parties.

Outdated video

In the old video, Fuziah’s intentions were to assess the cost of basic necessities. Despite the video’s claims, she clarifies that it was recorded during her visit to a Langkawi supermarket in early July, where she managed to buy essential goods for less than RM200. Amidst the controversy, Fuziah remains composed, aware of the political undercurrents.
