It seems that Malaysian corporations are joining in the bandwagon as Duck recently released their very own Palestinian collection. Surprisingly some users are supporting the business woman for her decision. Unfortunately, many others are feeling that this is not something that should be done.
Vivy Yusof responded against the criticisms of Duck
Her response is substantial, as she states that Duck isn’t making money from this collection, and whatever is made from it will be donated to a Palestinian aid. However, users still feel that the company should have found a different approach for it. Users claim that the company has infringed designs from other designers, a rather heavy accusation.
Users state that the point of this entire collection is to raise funds for Palestine. It seems that Vivy Yusof has raised a few million Ringgit for the cause. An X user states that these items may appear expensive as they are targeted towards a higher end customer platform.
