X users are showing their confusion towards the Malaysian boycotts citing that many are triggered with two specific brands which are McDonalds and Starbucks. However, some are asking, why are brands like Nutella, Grab and others left ignored.
Netizens confused why McDonalds & Maggi are boycotted
The X user states that an “ustazah” can sell Nutella cakes and they would be sold out, but yet at the same time netizens are obsessed with bashing influencers who collaborate with Maggi. The same user then adds that they would rather continue to patron McDonalds to support their workers.
Others state that those who are calling for boycotts are actually selfish individuals as they would probably not be affected by it. However, if it does directly affect them, they would be screaming at the top of their lungs.
